Welcome to MyHealthnet, provides sexual and reproductive health, counselling, advocacy service, as well as health promotion, education and training, self-esteem and empowerment workshops in institutions, schools, and communities, by phone and online.
We are dedicated to promoting and enhancing the health and well-being of young people in our community. Our services are tailored to meet the unique needs of individuals between the ages of 9 and before their 25th birthday, unless they have learning disability.
MyHealthnet also offer work experience to youths in with institutions and welcome partnership with organisations supporting community and youth health service.
We combine efforts to provide tailored service subject to available resources for project delivery.
We understand that young people face many challenges and need a safe space to express their feelings. Our experienced counsellors offer confidential support for issues related to reproductive, sexual, and psychosexual health, friendship and relationships, mental health, addiction, and other personal concerns.
We understand that not everyone has the extended arm of support around them when times are hard. When you are feeling alone, isolated, rejected, or removed from loved ones and undergoing a medical intervention, want to have someone present while consulting your medical professional etc. Vulnerable young people can also be referred to MyHealthnet or contact us direct for link support and preparedness for adulthood.
Our goal is to encourage open conversations about sexual health. If you're in a new relationship, discussing contraception and safe sex is essential. Remember to use condoms until both partners have been tested for STIs/STDs and are using another form of contraception.
