MyHealthnet is inviting young and enthusiastic volunteers to fill Roles in our Youth Health Drama Group (YHDG). This educational filmmaking group focuses on developing young people's sexual health education and communication skills under the guidance and supervision of their mentors and trainers.
MyHealthnet is inviting young and enthusiastic volunteers to fill Roles in our Youth Health Drama Group (YHDG). This educational filmmaking group focuses on developing young people's sexual health education and communication skills under the guidance and supervision of their mentors and trainers.
Young people run the group and we base educational drama on youth growth and education needs under supervision and guidance. We record all group activities and use these at our events and training.
The internship is available weekly and at a minimum of 3 weekends a month from April to July and then from July to December. The intern may continue in their role if necessary to complete their projects or reapply informally to extend their service. This is an opportunity to develop your social skills and gain some experience in media, acting, production, public relations, curating shows, and events organising and management. Volunteering nationally including London, Kent, and South East locations.
Drama Group for MyHealthnet rehearsals and recording takes place throughout the summer holidays from July to the end of August. We plan 2 to 3 drama events per year and a YHDG workshop with a showcase premiere screening online and or a local workshop, seminar, or conference.

MyHealthnet is recruiting interns to assist us with our monthly Volunteering and representative activities within umbrella organisations, media, VSO, and relevant NHS events. As well as recruiting and maintaining volunteer support, to ensure an efficient, professional, and supportive relationship, to actively participate in events and help multidisciplinary teams as needed.

As well as recruiting and maintaining volunteer support, to ensure an efficient, professional, and supportive relationship, to actively participate in events and help multidisciplinary teams as needed.
We expect our interns to direct service users as necessary, and when in the office, to greet people on arrival, look after guest speakers and liaise with sponsors and the media at events as directed. Interns and general volunteers may serve on a one-off seasonal project, a recurring event like school or community fundraising, or sign up for a much longer duration for learning skills development.
This role is excellent for undergraduate students and apprentice trainees who are interested in youth work, media, public relations and or health promotion. The intern must be personable, well-organised, and willing to learn and grow within MyHealthnet.
